Former British GT Championship-winner, Barwell Motorsport,  has one car entered in the 2010 Michelin Ginetta G50 Cup one-make championship, to be campaigned by 25-year-old up-and-coming GT driver, Julien Draper. Barwell will also be running an Aston Martin DBRS9 GT3 car in top-flight GT events around Europe.

Barwell Motorsport is an official ‘GT partner team’ of Ginetta Cars, and during 2009 campaigned the  ultimate G50 derivative – the G50Z-Zytek – in the British GT Championship, taking three outright race victories. Chris Needell, Barwell’s Commercial Director,  says:  ”We are absolutely delighted to have Rozalex on board as a new team partner this year, and it is great for Barwell Motorsport to be associated with a name that is steeped in automotive history. From April through to October we will be promoting the brand in front of the TV cameras and race crowds of 30,000 people, as we compete around the UK on the highly prestigious British Touring Car TOCA package. “

ROZALEX reveals striking new designs

Rozalex, the makers of high quality occupational skin care products, are pleased to announce that the range has been revitalised with a new label design.

 
The design draws on the brand’s 80 year heritage and introduces a new colour-coded system. The simple traffic light colours Red, Amber and Green match the Protect, Cleanse and Recondition skin care steps originally pioneered by Rozalex but since copied the world over.  The layout, fonts and symbols have a clear automotive/light industrial influence with a classic British design. The GB badge on the rear is a nice detail and instructions for use also outline other products in the range.

Directors Andrew Dean and Nicholas Angel spent significant time studying the brand’s history and wished to refresh the brand but hold true to its roots. The two-hand imagery has been used in Rozalex advertising since 1936.  Andrew Dean commented “The Rozalex labelling was tired and hadn’t caught up with competitive offerings. We talked to our distributors, retailers and end users and involved them in the design process.” James Briggs ITW in-house design team headed up by Gary Bennett crafted the new imagery following a tight design brief.

Nick Angel Rozalex’s managing director is pleased with the end result - “We’re talking constantly to new and existing retailers and distributors. There is a great deal of brand recognition but we needed a cleaner more modern offering to hold its own in the catalogue or on the shelf, especially in a retail environment.”
